The Gluten-Free Awareness Tour concluded its very successful 2012 schedule at the Holiday Inn – Cleveland South in Independence, Ohio on Saturday, November 17, 2012. The Cleveland event was sponsored by University Hospital- Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and The Cleveland Clinic and Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery. Hundreds of attendees heard leading Celiac disease experts including Dr. Thomas J. Sferra from University Hospital, Dr. Abdullah Shtnawei from Cleveland Clinic and Emily Kaufmann from Glutentox. Attendees also watched celebrity chefs prepare delicious gluten free meals and they sampled gluten free products from over 45 local and national companies.

The Cleveland event was presented by Giant Eagle and sponsored by The Cleveland Clinic, Nature’s Bin, Frito Lay and Glutino. Hundreds of attendees heard leading Celiac disease experts including Dr. Donald Kirby from the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Reinaldo Garcia-Naveiro from University Hospital and Jules Shepard discuss Celiac disease, an autoimmune digestive disorder that affects 2.8 million Americans. Attendees also watched celebrity chefs prepare delicious gluten free meals and they sampled gluten free products from over 45 local and national companies.
Greenville, SC – October 15, 2011
The sun was shinning and the temperature was in the low 70’s when the Gluten-Free Awareness Tour opened in Greenville, SC on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Attendees heard experts discuss Celiac disease, an autoimmune digestive disorder that affects 2.8 million Americans. Attendees also watched celebrity chefs prepare delicious gluten free meals and sampled gluten free products from over 25 local and national companies. The Greenville, SC stop was the fifth stop in the six-city Gluten-Free Awareness Tour. The ends its 2011 run with a final stop in Cleveland, Ohio on November 19th.
