Gluten-Free Awareness Tour Promotes Team Member to Community Outreach Director Position
Cleveland, Ohio – December 14, 2012 – “Because of the presence that we have in the celiac community
through our events and other services, it is important that we dedicate someone to work directly
with local food banks and other organizations that promote the health and wellness of the celiac
community,” explained newly appointed Community Outreach Director, Kishia Williamson.
As a part of our community outreach efforts, we plan to partner with food banks to provide a direct
need to those in the community who are hungry and have gluten sensitivity.
“We welcome input from the communities we visit through suggestions, feedback and participation at
the events,” continued Williamson.
The Gluten-Free Awareness Tour is a traveling event that promotes celiac disease awareness through its
events which include gluten-free food and beverage sampling, chef cooking demonstrations, lectures by
physicians and nutritionists and raffle prize drawings. The Gluten-Free Awareness Tour kick’s off the 2013 season
in Pittsburgh on Saturday January 26, 2013 at the DoubleTree Monroeville from 9:00 am to
